The guidelines will identify key legislative considerations, outline key design and process considerations, and act as a useful starting point for relevant stakeholders to plan for new energy imports.

The Zero Emission Maritime Buyers Alliance has launched its second tender process for decarbonized fuels. Starting in 2027, the tender aims to cover multi-year cargo shipping demand equivalent to 1.5 million loaded, twenty-foot shipping containers transported from Shanghai to Los Angeles.

Once operational, the Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners-led Murchison Green Hydrogen project will receive AU$814 million in hydrogen production credits from the Australian government as part of the Hydrogen Headstart program. Nearly 1.8 million tons of renewable ammonia per year will be produced, primarily for export to Asian markets.
